Ask Me Anything!

As a kid, I spent most of my time in the library. I checked out so many books that the librarian once asked me if I also wrote books and said that people who read as much as I did often dreamed of writing their own books. Her question sparked something in me that day. A realization that whatever I wanted to do in life, it had to do with stories. I wanted to spend as much time as possible in the worlds I dreamed of—I wanted to ride dragons, solve mysteries, be a warrior, and sometimes a princess.

Despite that, I pursued a business degree in college, thinking it was a surefire path to success. It took only one semester for me to admit that it wasn’t the path for me. I switched gears to Creative Writing and never looked back.

Macy, my muse and writing companion

I graduated from Central Michigan University with a BS in English. Throughout high school and college, I often edited for friends and family.

After graduation, I applied for a job at a law firm, fact-checking and proofreading documents. In 2019, after five years of my dreams being just out of reach, I left to start a business editing professionally.

Today, in the company of my muse and writing companion, Macy, I spend most of my days reading as much as I can get my hands on, writing my own stories, and editing the creative words of others.

Where the magic happens

When I’m not editing, reading, or writing, you can find me hanging out with family or asleep on the couch, pretending to catch up on all the shows I’ve neglected.
